The Strong Shapeshifter – Dianna Kos

Dianna Kos

Depending on who you ask, you’ll get wildly different descriptions of Dianna Kos. To her adoring boyfriend, Marcus, she’s the most ambitious woman he’s ever met (excluding his mother, may she rest in peace). Jordan feels the same way and praises Dianna as being brilliant with an incredible work ethic and the best thing that’s ever happened to Marcus. The Trusty Trickster – Jordan Kilravock

Jordan Kilravock

Some say paranoia is total awareness, and Jordan Kilravock agrees. In fact, Marcus’s best friend embraces that phrase so completely that he added it to the tapestry of tattoos covering his entire left forearm. At his core, Jordan is a conspiracy theorist. The Shadow & The Harold – Brad & Hi!-D

Brad & Hi!-D

An alien and his artificial intelligence sidekick walk into a bar … the punchline being the bar is on the University of Utah campus, so no drinking is allowed. If you’ve heard this joke before, you know about Marcus’s alien researcher, Brad, and his digital assistant, Hi!-D. This duo is the face of the Federation (though Brad uses cloaking technology to project a human image) and their nature raises questions about identity and consciousness in the universe. The Magical Mentor – Bill Martin

Bill Martin

Even before the earliest written records, a wise elder figure has been a standard part of human stories. These archetypal sages typically possess magical powers or the support of a supernatural force (… cough … Federation … cough cough …) and are shrouded in mystery. Such warriors of wisdom provide moral instruction for the story’s characters, often manifesting in their true form at the very moment the hero needs them most.
